Key Lime Pie

This is a quick recipe for a delicious pie. It's my favorite. The handmade crust variation is wonderful!

9" Graham Cracker Crusts,

oz lime juice,

oz Cool Whip,

oz sweetened condensed milk, (1 can)

graham crakers, processed to fine crumbs

tablespoons granulated sugar,

tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1
medium lime, for zest

two 9" pie plates
Directions
For speed, use the premade crusts and heat at 325 degrees for 5 minutes. For taste, heat oven to 325 degrees. Mix crumbs and sugar in medium bowl. Add butter; stor with fork until well blended. Scrape mixture into 2 9" pie pans and press crumbs flat. Bake for 20 minutes.
Mix the lime juice and zest of one lime into the condensed milk. Fold 8 oz of Cool Whip into mix until smooth and pour half of mix into each pie crust.
Spread remaining Cool Whip over pies and cool for at least three hours. Serve and enjoy!
