Chicken Sate

Wonderful Thai chicken skewers.

 30 skewers


Ingredients

2-4tbsp Sate Seasoning, from Penzeys
2tbsp water,
2lbs boneless, skiness chicken breasts,
3tbsp soy sauce,
4tbsp peanut oil,
2tbsp rice vinegar,

Equipment

  • Medium bowl
  • Grill or griddle on stovetop
  • 30 wooden skewers

Directions

  1. Cut chicken into 3/4" cubes, trimming of fat. Place in medium bowl.
  2. Mix all other ingredients with the chicken, stirring to coat. Cover and let marinate for 2 hours
  3. Thread 5-6 pieces on each skewer. Place griddle on stove-top, turning both burners on to medium-high heat.
  4. Cook skewers in batches, about 3-5 minutes on each side, until cooked thoroughly. Serve immediately, with soy sauce and peanut dipping sauce.
