Turkey Meat Loaf

A healthy alternative to regular meat loaf.

Ingredients

1/2Cup Bread Crumbs,
1Tsp Black Pepper,
3Tbsp Oyster Sauce,
1medium Onion, 1/4-inch dice
1/2Tsp Garlic Powder,
2Lbs Ground Turkey,
1 1/2Tsp Kosher Salt,
3Tbsp Egg Whites,

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • 10-inch loaf pan
  • parchment paper
  • baking sheet
  • probe thermometer

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine all ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pack the mixture into the loaf pan.
  4. Turn the loaf out onto a parchment-paper lined baking sheet.
  5. Insert a probe thermometer at a 45 degree angle into the top of the meatloaf. Avoid touching the bottom of the tray with the probe. Set the probe for 155 degrees F.
  6. Cook until the thermometer's alarm goes off.
  7. Remove from the oven, tent loosely with aluminum foil and allow it to rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
