Ingredients
1/2
cup water,
2
cup flour,
1/4
teaspoon salt,
1
teaspoon baking powder,
2
eggs,
oil for frying,
Equipment
Stock Pot for frying
Rolling pin or pasta machine
Tongs
Directions
Mix dry ingredients together, add wet ingredients. Knead the dough and separate into 12 evenly sized balls. Roll each ball to about 1/8" thick in rectangle. Make three to five parallel slices in the center of each rectangle, as in a spatula.
Fry each rectangle until browned, they will poof as they are cooked. An alternative method is to bake them in the oven on a baking sheet lined with tinfoil at 450 degrees for 10-13 minutes.
