Apple Crisp

Quick and easy dump dessert!

Ingredients

6 tart apples, pared and cut into thin slices
1/2cup sugar,
1/4cup butter or margarine, melted
1tsp. cinnamon,
1pkg. Jiffy Yellow Cake Mix,
Ice Cream or Whipped Cream,

Equipment

  • 9x9 inch glass pan
  • paring knife

Directions

  1. Place pared and sliced apples into 9x9 pan.
  2. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over apples. Let sit for 45 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle dry cake mix over apple mixture.
  4. Pour melted butter over dry cake mix. Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven when golden brown and apples are bubbling through. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
