Frog's Eye Salad

These little pastas float in a whipped topping and pineapple juice mixture and taste great!

Ingredients

1/2box Acini Pepe Pasta, (8 oz)
1 egg,
1/2cup sugar,
1tablespoon flour,
115 oz jar pineapple chunks, (drain and save juice)
111 oz can mandarin oranges,
1cup mini marshmallows,
8oz cool whip,

Equipment

  • medium cooking pot
  • large sauce pan

Directions

  1. Cook pasta in medium pot. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a sauce pan, whisk the egg, sugar, flour and reserved pineapple juice. Cook until mixture thickens, then cool.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and the pasta to the thickened mixture. Chill and scarf it up!
