Meatloaf

From the Kitchen of John Bent,

use a mixture of different meats - try mostly ground beef with some

sausage thrown in.

Ingredients

1lb ground beef,
1 egg,
1cup storebought stuffing, crunched
.25cup ketchup,
salt,
black pepper,
2 onions, minced
1 lemon, sliced
2clove garlic, minced

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • baking pan
  • oven

Directions

  1. Mince, dice, slice, smash the onions and garlic as small as you can.
  2. Pound the stuffing as well.
  3. Smoosh everything together in a mixing bowl.
  4. When well mixed, fit into a cooking pan, leaving no spaces.
  5. Spread a mixture of lemon juice, brown suger and ketchup on top.
  6. Layer slices of onion and lemon on top.
  7. Cook for about 1 hour in oven preheated to 350. It's done when the top turns brown and a fork comes out clean.
