Directions
- Saute shallots, cardamom and other spices in melted butter. Make sure to use a pan which is oven safe and had a lid.
- Add the fennel and turn it to coat in the butter mixture
- Add chicken broth, bring to a boil
- Place in oven for 30 minutes, basting occaisionally
- Return to stovetop and return to a boil, about 15 minutes until thick.
