Almond Mini Chip Shortbread

A quick and yummy desert.

Yields:
 1 dozen bars


Ingredients

1c butter, soft
1/2c sugar,
2 1/2c all-purpose flour,
1tsp almond extract,
1c mini semi-sweet chocolate chips,
pam spray,

Equipment

  • 13x9x2 inch pan
  • knife
  • mixer

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350. Grease baking pan.
  2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until fluffy. Add flour and almond extract; blend well. Stir in small chocolate chips; pat into prepared pan.
  3. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes; cut into bars or triangles. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
